Lee’s sky-high fundraising
Bob Lilley passed away with MND in January 2007.
Now his grandson, Lee Hardy, together with David Rickwood, is doing some
spectacular fundraising for the Association in his memory.
The high point will be a Sky Dive - and you can't get a much higher point
than that.
Lee is organising a fundraiser, aiming to raise at least £800 to
pay for the skydive itself (2 skydivers at £400). Any extra raised
from the evening will go to the Association (Tyne & Wear local branch).
On top of that, all sponsorships for the dive will go to the Tyne &
Wear Branch to support their work for people living with MND.
Lee and David hope to do the skydive in March.
The fundraising event is an MND Charity Night at the High Howdon Social
Club in Wallsend. There is a great line-up of entertainers and tickets
are only £3 if you get them in advance. The poster says it all:

So come along to Wallsend on Thursday 26 February for a great evening
out and a very worthwhile cause.
Lee's plan has attracted interest from the Sunday Sun, who have promised
to run a feature on it, and Tyne-Tees TV have also shown interest.
