Branch Website Wins Commendation
The judging panel had some very hard decisions to make this year and although not quite winners, I am delighted to inform you that the Tyne and Wear Branch has been highly commended in the 2005 Branch and Group Oscarrs for your Branch Website.
The Branch was nominated for the award by Chris Oakenfull, Volunteer Development Co-ordinator. Chris nominated the Branch for:
’their excellent Branch Website. The website is used as a very positive means to promote and raise awareness of MND, the Association, and the Branch and Sunderland Support Group. Always friendly, informative and kept bang up to date with news of the work and activities of both the Branch and Support Group.
The site is particularly notable for all the wonderful photographs taken by Alan Riddle at the events, especially the Great North Run where everyone who ran for the Association is captured - a lovely way to link with other supporters both locally and nationally.’
