Garden Centre Meetings
We have regular afternoon get-together opportunities at a local garden centre for people affected by MND.
For people affected by MND, an informal get-together can be valuable. We hope that these relaxed opportunities to meet, chat and share experiences with others affected by MND can help to reduce some of the feelings of isolation and worry.
Across the country more and more Branches are offering this style of meeting and they are proving very popular.

The regular venue is Dobbies Garden World at Ponteland. We meet in the Garden Centre restaurant area from 2-4 pm.
It is easily accessible, with lots of parking and disabled facilities.
We are happy to discuss assistance with transport costs or arrange return taxis for anyone living with MND.

Directions
Travel by Car
Beside the A696 Ponteland Road between the Airport and Ponteland township.
There is easy-access free parking on site.
Travel by Bus
From Newcastle Eldon Garden Shopping Centre to Ponteland Numbers 77,78 and 79.
These buses take you direct to Dobbies Ponteland.
Travel by Metro
Take Metro to Airport. Then walk (about 12 mins) following signs towards Ponteland. You can take a shortcut through the grounds of the Badger Pub.
