A charity night in aid of Motor Neurone Disease is being held at the New Rendezvous Cantonese Restaurant at 7pm, Monday 27 February.

All money raised through the sale of these tickets and on the night will go towards raising money and awareness of Motor Neurone Disease.

It was great to see so many people turn out for our neurological disorderly night in aid of four major neuro diseases, and enter into the spirit of the night, coming in fancy dress.

What a gruesome sight we made!

Two of the people featured in our Great North Run Review are to be the focus of a major programme on Channel 4.

It's not just about fundraising. For our supporters, the Great North Run is also a social occasion. The Welcome Tent becomes filled to overflowing and the crowd spills out onto the grass. It becomes quite a scrum - a time to relax and enjoy some nosh, a chance to chat and swap stories now the big physical effort and the tension are over.
